According to a research conducted by CNN on the Busiest airports in the world, the United States has five busiest-airports among top 10 airports in the world. 

Here in this article, I am going to mention those 5 airports in the United States. Most of the passengers that are travelling from these airports are domestic, almost 80-90%. While these airports have only 10-20% international passengers. 

Here is the List of top 5 Busiest Airports in the United States. These five are ranked among top 10 busiest airports in the world. 

1. Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta:

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world and so is in the United States. Over 93 million passengers both from Domestic and international travelling benefit from this airport. It’s present in Georgia. 

2. Dallas Airport:

In Texas, Dallas airport is the 2nd busiest airport in the United states and throughout the world. It has over 73 million domestic and international traffic. 

3. Denver Airport:

Based in Colorado, Denver ranked 3rd on our list conducting 69 million+ traffic shifts.

4. Chicago O’Hare International Airport:

Chicago O’Hare is in 4th position in our list of busiest airports.  Over 68 million passenger travel via this airport. 

5. Los Angeles International Airport:

With 65 million annual passengers, Los Angeles airport is the 5th airport we have in United States.
